Anet: Elite Mission Quest Bug. Elite Mission Incomplete?
We used Tyrian Characters.
As you can see from the following two images, we began protecting the priest's ritual to open the door.
We cleared out the first two mobs that spawned, and defended the priest. However, after that, the priest didn't open the door nor did any further mobs spawn. We have been sitting here for about 30 min. We ran around the area and looked for any thing out of the ordinary, but found nothing.
I would like a private P/M from an Anet employ when they fix it.

DoA hasn't been touched since its implimentation, aside from minor graphical issues (Quest and Enrage clarification).

Does'nt mean to say it was'nt affected by something else. Remember the bug that caused all monsters to drop loot and fight each other? That was caused by a skill update and a graphical fix. The game is massively complex so who knows what interacts with what.
Maybe after the GFX updates, the priest guy/snake is caught on some invisible wall and cant get close enough to open the door?
I'm sure it'll be fixed soon enough. Darned annoying for the people to get there tho

Actually, that update just caused loot to drop when the player had no involvement. The enemies still fought.
If this is a bug caused by an update, it would be like a butterfly flapping its wings, and causing a hurricane (see where I'm going?)
Also, from GWO from the indentical topic, since Gaile apparently loves them more than us...

Update: After some more tries, it seems that more groups do spawn, it might have glitched just that one time... not 100% sure yet though.
However, doing this with 4 players and 4 heroes, we tend to die quite often so it's hard to progress
